Looking For Directions?At P.A.T.H. FINDERS Intl. (PATHWAYS sro.) we take such requests seriously. These days the term "incentive travel" more often implies, how to find a quiet place, at a reasonable cost. As with searching for mushrooms, this is not the sort of question that many service providers have much interest in. Your travel experience here is important to us, and so we are happy to share what we know about so called "off the beaten path" destinations. Our experience with research and travel to ancestral villages has taken us to many out of the way places, and uniquely prepared us to assist you. Furthermore, it is not common for agencies which provide guided travel, to offer clients an option for independent travel. We do this, since it has been our experience when traveling ourselves, on a budget, that expensive add ons, such as guides, drivers, and fancy hotels, are beyond our means. Thus, we offer to consult with our guests, at a nominal fee, and provide the full extent of our resource library and experience. Albeit, we may very well wind up discouraging you from what you might think would be a romantic rail journey, on the anything but romantic Czech Railways, or a "must do" visit to some well known castle or town, simply because they just are not what they used to be, and there are at least a dozen alternatives that haven't yet been discovered. Therefore, the point of a self guided adventure, and the necessary ingredient for a successful outcome, is planning with good information. This is sadly not readily available through most of the official travel portals and web sites, since most sites are like showroom windows, and they lure you to some destination offering "golf" or "spa" packages. Such offers are far from what you might expect, and in the end you will have little or no means to complain. Alternately, finding the few sites that do provide a wealth of unbiased and easily accessible data could take more time than the travel itself. Thus, we offer you our experience as a partner. We have lived, traveled extensively, and provided guidance to travelers throughout Central Europe (Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine) for 14 years.
