Local Contacts - $49
Provide us with enough specific data (family names, known places of residence, and an approximate date of birth, marriage, death or emigration), we will search for living relatives by contacting local offices and historians. The success of these contacts relies, to a great extent, on the quality and quantity of the data provided.

In the absence of sufficient data, it may be necessary to first conduct Basic Genealogical Research.This should insure at the very least a visit to the correct place of origin. Although this fee is limited to one family group, town or village, each request typically warrants several calls and letters before we can be certain of the result. Please note: In each case, we will assess whatever data is provided and submit a proposal on how we might help to facilitate your wishes. This proposal for services, along with an estimate of the cost for each service, is free of charge.

Local Contacts should precede any family reunions or visit to a place of origin. These contacts cannot be understated in what they can possibly add to any visit. Local Contacts should not be used, however, as a substitute for research, since local authorities are typically unable to assist without some necessary details. Thus, we recommend that Local Contacts should be made only after a place of origin (e.g. house number, family names, dates of birth, marriage or emigration, etc.) can be provided and/or verified.

Further correspondence with local families or authorities, after a reunion, must be treated separately and charged depending on how much translating or additional work is required. As a rule, we try to find someone within the family or community who can help with continued correspondence.

Family Reunions & Visiting Ancestral Towns/Villages - $349/Day
For the purpose of visiting villages and meeting relatives we can supply a reliable vehicle and skilled driver/interpreter. Our basic daily rate is intended for individuals or small groups of up to 3 persons. This fee  is based on an 8 hour day, and includes 280Km round trip mileage. We can also adjust our rates to cover a greater distance and spend as much time as you wish, or assist larger groups (any size),.

• Additional hours - $39/each
• 12 hour day - up to 400Km round trip for 3 passenger car - $469
• Each 10Km over 400Km for 3 passenger car - $5
• Groups of 4 to 7 persons - (up to 8 hours and 280Km) $469/Day
• Groups of 4 to 7 persons - (up to 12 hours and 400Km) $599/Day
• Each 10Km over 400Km for 7 passenger van - $8

Follow up translating of any correspondence after a reunion is offered as an Additional Service and will be charged according to the extent of the amount of correspondence. Otherwise, as a rule, we will try to establish if someone within the family or community can help to translate any further correspondence.

Extended Travel - $329/Day for up to 3 persons (plus lodging & meals)
This is discount is for those who spend three or more days exploring the Austrian, Czech, Hungarian, German, Polish, or Slovak countryside. It is intended to encourage visitors to go further with us. The Extended Travel option also means greater flexibility concerning time and distances (up to 10 hours & 320Km/day). $429/Day for 4 to 7 persons

This will allow you to spend more time exploring the treasures further away from Prague (i.e., Česky Krumlov, Kroměríž, Šumperk, Bamburg, Dresden, Bratislava, Krakow, Olomouc, Budapest, Saltzburg and Vienna).

We excell in locating the finest lodging in small hotels or B & B style pensions, even in the most remote regional towns . Choice of lodging, however, is always according to your specific wishes.
Tell us what you are looking for, and we will provide you with options to choose from.  Since we do not rely on provisions from these small inns, you can be assured that our suggestions will be based on the best lodging available in a particular area, and not just those that pay a fee.

Self Guided Travel Consulting - $45 to $85 (based on time & materials required)
Travel independently in your own rental car, choose your own lodging from a recommended list, and use local guides (wherever available). We will advise you concerning any or all parts of your itinerary. Be as flexible as you like with your travel plans, and we will be as invisable ( but available ) as you wish. Such plans should be made well in advance, to insure availability of local guides and lodging.

Additional Services

The following options listed here are intended to help families to keep in touch, once they have been reunited with distant relatives, and if there is any desire to maintain these relations:

Translation of letters and/or other text materials exchanged between families (Czech to English/English to Czech). The cost of this service (between $25 to $55/page) would be based on the amount of text and the technical difficulty of the topic.

Cards, Gifts, & Flowers - As a reminder during the holidays, and to mark other occasions (births, marriages, deaths, etc.), we will obtain and insure delivery of greeting cards, gifts, or flowers to your friends and relatives in the Czech Republic) $49-99 (according to package).

Photography/Videotaping of your family reunion. This offer is for those who wish to have a particular event professionally recorded. We are now equipped to film your special event, so that you can relax and enjoy your time together - $229/event (plus travel expenses from Prague @ $.25/Km)
